Take Care of All Your Maintenance Needs
When we are referring to vehicle maintenance, it means those preemptive measures that you take on a regular basis to keep the systems and components of your car, truck, SUV, or minivan functioning at peak performance. These kinds of maintenance procedures are important to prevent future problems with your vehicle.
Perhaps one of the most important things you can do for your vehicle’s continued performance is an oil change. This procedure is recommended about every 5,000-10,000 miles, depending on the make, model, and age of your vehicle. Some older vehicles may require older changes about every 3,000 miles, but most newer vehicles can go as long as 7,500 miles on average with synthetic oil. Every 10,000 miles may be possible in some vehicles, but it is important to have regular oil changes according to manufacturer recommendations.
If you are not sure where your vehicle lands as far as frequency of oil changes, you can get that information from your vehicle’s owner’s manual. In fact, your owner’s manual should have regular maintenance schedules outlined for you for all major maintenance procedures. Check your manual for maintenance recommendations for your vehicle, but here are some average time frames for maintenance.

These schedules do not apply to all vehicles, but it will at least provide some guidance for you if it has been a while since you have had maintenance done to your vehicle.
