Welcome To The Townsend Nissan Parts Center
As your automotive dealership, we're dedicated to delivering high-quality service to you at every step of the car ownership process. That means delivering genuine OEM parts to our customers whether they're planning a DIY home auto project, need repairs at our dealership, or want to improve their car with new accessories.
Our service department keeps a large inventory of factory OEM parts in stock at all times, because we know how important it is to fit the vehicles we're servicing with genuine manufacturer parts. In fact, using factory parts over aftermarket parts can be the difference between having a car that lasts for ten years or more and a car that dies out prematurely.
Whether you're considering maintenance, repairs, or accessorizing your vehicle, you can ensure you're getting the right product at a fair price by purchasing your parts and accessories directly from our parts department. All you have to do is place your order online, and we'll give you a call as soon as it's ready to pickup.
If you have any questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to contact our parts department directly and visit us at the dealership.
FAQs for the Parts Center at Townsend Nissan
The following questions are some of the most commonly asked about our Parts Center at Townsend Nissan and parts for Nissan vehicles. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, you can contact us to get the assistance you need.
What are OEM parts?
OEM refers to Original Equipment Manufacturer. It means the part was designed for a specific model of Nissan vehicle instead of an aftermarket part, which is designed to work with several models and often needs alterations.
Why are OEM parts better than aftermarket parts?
OEM parts are developed specifically for a specific model. They fit in place without alterations. OEM parts are also designed to work with the rest of the system, allowing them to be more efficient while providing optimal performance. Aftermarket parts don’t have that distinction. While they may be cheaper than OEM parts, they usually must be replaced sooner, leading to additional costs down the road.
How can I order parts if I do my own service and repairs?
You can visit Townsend Nissan to pick up the part you need, give us a call, or use our online order form. If you’re not sure of the name of the part, our team can usually help you figure out what part you need if you tell us where it’s located.
Are OEM parts affordable?
OEM parts are affordable for your Nissan vehicle, especially if you take advantage of our specials. When you need a part, you can check our parts specials to see if we’re running a discount. You can also apply for financing and pay over time for parts and services. Additionally, you’ll pay less over time with OEM parts because they last longer and provide more efficient performance.
What if you don’t have a part in stock?
We carry a large inventory of OEM parts for all our Nissan models, so you’ll probably find the part you need. If you’re working on restoring a classic Z model or another older vehicle, we may need to order the specialty part for you. We have an extensive list of suppliers where we can order the parts and have them delivered ASAP.
Can I return a part?
Yes, if the part is damaged or the wrong one for your vehicle, you can return it. Just have your receipt and we’ll gladly refund you or replace it with the correct part.
What if I have other questions about parts?
If you have questions about the part or the repair you’re working on, you can talk to our Parts Center or one of our service technicians in the Service Center. And if you find the job is too difficult for you to complete or takes too much time, you can schedule service and let our technicians take care of the task. We’re proud to serve you throughout Alabama Monday through Friday from 7AM to 6PM. Our Service Center is also open on Saturdays from 8AM to noon if you need additional assistance.
